YoungEd Scholar and Professional Fellowships
The YoungEd fellowship program aims at building up scholarly and professional development in education majorly to remit the competency required to enfold the gap in provision of education in Africa. Certified applicants are invited to apply for the YoungEd fellowship program 2022.
The YoungEd Challenge focuses on areas of investment and partnerships; where the program provides financial and non-financial support to young African educators who are passionate about improving Africa’s education ecosystem.; and fostering public -private partnerships to harness collective strengths of stakeholders towards developing the next generation of Africa’s Educators.
- YoungEd Scholar Fellowship
Financial and mentorship support is provided to facilitate their study or research towards attaining a qualification in any field of education.
Continued support is granted based on sustained performance as determined via our monitoring and evaluation efforts in collaboration with the YoungEd Scholar’s institution.
Application Criteria: An African residing in Africa; between 16 – 30 years of age; and currently studying or interested in studying an education related course in any African tertiary institution.
- YoungEd Professional Fellowship
The program aims to foster capacity building, continuous learning and professional development by providing sponsorship to participate in seminars, workshops, conferences and short courses.
YoungEd Africa will partner closely with the organizations hosting such events to support the full participation of interested YoungEd Professionals.
Application Criteria: An African residing in Africa; between 20 – 40 years of age; and has obtained a certificate or degree in any education related field.
