University of Selangor, Malaysia (UNISEL) Tuition Only Scholarship Award for International Students 2022 (USAIS 2022)

University of Selangor (UNISEL) is a fully Government owned institution in Malaysia established in 1999. Due to the collaboration between the Governments of Kenya and Malaysia, UNISEL Scholarship Award for International Students (USAIS) is offering One Hundred and Sixty (160) undergraduate scholarships awards to Kenyans students in Eight (8) programmes. The scholarships are as follows;

i. Sixteen (16) students will get 100% tuition scholarship,
ii. Forty-Eight (48) students will get 50% tuition scholarship and
iii. Ninety-Six (96) students will get 25% tuition scholarship.

NB: Beneficiaries for each scholarship category will be determined by the University on first come basis.

To receive the scholarship, students have to register as a full-time student at UNISEL. The commencement of the scholarship scheme is for April, 2023 intake.

The programmes offered for USAIS are as follows: –

1. Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with Honours
2. Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Honours
3. Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with Honours
4. Bachelor of Biotechnology Industry with Honours
5. Bachelor of Occupational Safety & Health (Hons)
6. Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Hons)
7. Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons)
8. Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons)

Features of the scholarship

1. The scholarship is offered for TUITION FEES ONLY. The scholarship does not include: –

i. Flight ticket
ii. Feeding/Food
iii. Accommodation/Hostel fee
iv. Visa processing & renewal
v. Semester registration

2. All the shortlisted students are required to submit the following documents: –

i. Scholarship Application Form
ii. Passport Copy (scanned passport with all pages including the blank page)
iii. Passport Size photo (white background and dark attire
iv. Academic Certificate & Transcript

Eligibility

1. The applicant must not be more than 25 years of age
2. Must have an original KCSE certificate with a minimum grade of B (Plain)
3. Birth certificate
4. Not bonded to or be a recipient of any financial aid or award/scholarship/bursary from other education institutions or organizations
5. Passport size photograph with white background (35mm by 35mm
6. Applicant must be in excellent health condition and fill health declaration form certified by a doctor/medical professional.

2. Completed application form with attached certified photocopies of ID, academic/professional certificates, transcripts, Birth Certificate and/or other testimonials should be sent to:
