Tender Notice: Supply, Delivery & Installation of a Garret Walk Through Metal Detector and Astrophysics X-ray Baggage Scanner

World Vision International (a non-profit making Christian Relief, Development and advocacy agency) invites bids
from reputable suppliers for the supply, delivery & Installation of walk through metal detector and X-ray baggage
scanner at their Karen Office Complex in Nairobi.

World Vision International WVI will enter into a contract with the successful bidder for this purpose.

Qualifications of the Service Provider
World Vision International seeks to contract a vendor for the supply, delivery and installation of a walk through metal
detector and x-ray baggage scanner with previous experience and reputation with large organizations and has capacity to supply at short notice.
The Service Provider must describe and explain how and why they are the best entity that can deliver the requirement to WVI.

Clarification of Bidding Document
a) All correspondence related to this tender shall be in English.
b) Should there be doubt or uncertainty on any clause of the tender, Bidders may seek clarification in writing
through the email: Earo_Procurement@wvi.org
c) Responses to clarifications sought by bidders shall be provided by the date indicated on the tender timetable.
d) It is the responsibility of the Bidder to obtain any further information required for purposes of completing the
tender.
e) Clarification requests and their associated response will be circulated to all Bidders.
f) The last date of receiving requests for clarifications from bidders is Friday, 27 August 2021 at 16:00 pm.

Submission of Tenders
a. The tenderers shall submit one (1) original electronic copy of the proposal which shall bear the name and identification number of the Tender as defined in the invitation to tender.
b. Tenders shall be submitted electronically to Earo_Procurement@wvi.org by the closing date Thursday 9 September 2021 at 11:00HRS EAT as detailed in the tender invitation.
c. Any tender received after the deadline prescribed in the invitation to tender will be rejected.
d. Tenderers may modify or withdraw their tenders by giving notice in writing before the deadline. Each tenderers modification or withdrawal notice shall be prepared and marked “MODIFICATION” or “WITHDRAWAL”, as appropriate. No tender may be modified after the deadline for submission of tenders
