Tender for Supply of Water Tanks, Installation of Rain Water Harvesting Systems and Plumbing Works – Self Help Africa

Self Help Africa is an international NGO dedicated to the vision of an economically thriving and resilient rural Africa. Headquartered in Ireland, in 2021, Self Help Africa merged with United Purpose. This doubled our size and created an international NGO that is implementing projects to end extreme hunger and poverty across 17 countries, mainly in sub-Saharan Africa. with offices in the UK (Cardiff, London and Shrewsbury). SHA creates scalable and sustainable solutions to eradicating long-term poverty through knowledge transfer, investment, and market linkages.

Self Help Africa, with funding from the European Union is currently implementing a four (4) year initiative under Common Program Framework (CPF) that operationalizes the Ending Drought Emergencies (EDE) strategy in Kenya and aims to Support Resilience for Sustainable Livelihoods through implementation of the project dubbed, “Baringo Resilience Initiative, Nurturing Greater Opportunity” (BaRINGO). The Project is implemented in partnership with Farming Systems Kenya (FSK) with close collaboration with the Baringo County Government (BCC) and National Drought Management Authority (NDMA). In this Invitation to Tender (ITT) document SHA, Farming Systems Kenya (FSK), the County Government of Baringo and the National Drought Management Authority are referred to as “The Stakeholders”.
