Our Business Development team have a Senior Business Development Opportunity based in our Sub Saharan Africa head office in Nairobi. You will sit within our Development Centre, working to pursue, design, manage and deliver new large-scale and technical consultancy opportunities for Education Development Trust in the SSA region and internationally.
You will provide high-quality bid leadership for large-scale and technical consultancy opportunities, develop and implement a business development strategy/pipeline, support colleagues with business development and ensure effective and engaging relationships with clients. This includes identifying and sourcing new business through opportunity tracking and management, pre-positioning and planning, playing a leading role in conceptual design of education solutions, partnership management, bid writing and managing bid teams. This will involve working closely with Regional Directors, delivery and Consultancy Teams, and the bid support functions, so excellent communication skills are essential.
