Schwarzman Scholars Program
Applications for the Schwarzman Scholars Program 2023-2024 are now open. The Schwarzman Scholars Program brings together a diverse cohort of young leaders from all regions and sectors of the world who embrace each other’s differences while working on a joint mission.
The cohort of global leaders reflects the diversity, vibrancy and promise of the world at large. Schwarzman Scholars embrace the opportunity to understand other cultures, perspectives and positions.
Eligibility
- Must have an undergraduate degree.
- Must be 18-28 years of age
- Must be proficient in the English language
Selection Criteria
Schwarzman Scholars are selected from an international pool of distinguished candidates. Prospective Scholars are expected to demonstrate academic excellence, exceptional results in their field and outstanding leadership qualities.
Candidates who are most qualified to meet the high demands of the program must exhibit excellence in the following areas:
- Leadership abilities
- Exemplary character & integrity
- Academic aptitude & intellectual ability
- Empathy & intercultural competency
- Open mindedness
- Entrepreneurial spirit
Application
The application must be completed online and submitted electronically once you have answered all the required questions. The application form must be completed in English.
The following supporting documents are required:
- Resume
- 2 Essays: The two required essays are a Leadership Essay (750 words) and a Statement of Purpose (500 words).
- Transcript/Academic Records
- 3 Letters of Recommendation
- Video Introduction: Provide a short video self-introduction of no more than 1 minute.
The deadline for applicants with Chinese passports is May 20, 2022. The deadline for U.S. and global applicants is September 20, 2022.
