Open National Tender (ONT): Supply and Delivery of Sterile Needles and Syringe (NSP KIT 1) -Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS)
The Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) was established in 1965 by an Act of Parliament (Chapter 256 Laws of Kenya) as a voluntary aid Society, auxiliary to the national and county governments. Its vision is to be the most effective, most trusted and self-sustaining humanitarian organization in the country. KRCS was appointed by the Kenya Country Coordinating Mechanism (KCM) as the Civil Society Principal Recipient (PR) to manage resources under the Country’s Global Fund HIV Grant implemented through selected Sub Recipients (SRs).
Through the Grant, KRCS is implementing a Needle and Syringe Programme (NSP), which is a high impact and evidence-based harm reduction strategy that has the potential of reducing new HIV infections among people who inject drugs (PWIDs).
The Society therefore invites tenderers for the Harm Reduction NSP Kit 1 to support the programme. Complete tender documents in English detailing the requirements, qualification and specification of the medical items may be viewed and downloaded from the KRCS website at https://www.redcross.or.ke/Tenders
