Job Title: HR Partner

Purpose of the job
The mission of the HR department is to lead and drive the development and implementation of people related strategies ­ in close alignment with organizational strategies ­at global and GPI level. As a HR Partner you will act as a Change Agent and will be able to lead and drive HR related discussion and projects with (senior) management. You
provide high level, proactive, customer focused support through partnering with Managers to deliver organizational performance through excellent people management. You are a contributing and collaborative member of the
GPI HR Department and the wider global HR function in the delivery of the people dimensions of the Global Strategy.

Main responsibilities
1) Partnering & Organizational Change

  • Proactively develop and maintain high impact and customer focused working relationships with (senior) managers, understand their business and challenges.
  • Champion the use of HR Metrics and reporting of key people indicators to shape and monitor people practices. Develop and maintain knowledge on HR related issues by analyzing HR trends and external developments and exchanging knowledge and experiences with peers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to (senior) management, strategically and proactively partnering on matters related to organizational change, capability and capacity, retention, recruitment, learning, performance management, engagement, absence and compensation and benefits, to meet organizational goals.
  • Work with (senior) management to efficiently and effectively execute all HR processes and equip (senior) management with appropriate tools and knowledge to effectively manage their people in line with their organizational plans.

2) People & Management Development

  • Provide support and challenge managers, so they will be fully equipped to drive excellence in people management, great working environments and to develop people management capabilities.
  • Actively contribute to and coordinate projects within various HR

3) Planning & Recruitment

  • Support line managers in developing multiyear resourcing plans.
  • Support succession planning, including the identification of potential and internal development.
  • Taking the organization’s need for flexibility and strategic relevance into consideration by advising managers on recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Liaise with the GPI Recruiter and the HR Experts in order to get the right talent in the right place at the right time.

4) HR Development

  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, systems and practices, including between GPI and NROs; identify gaps, propose, develop HR initiatives and implement necessary changes in
    order improve consistency, organizational effectiveness, cover risks, in a changing internal and external environment.
  • Encourage and support knowledge sharing and learning at GPI and Global HR level.

Skills & Competencies
Skills

  • Professional HR qualifications at Bachelor degree
  • More than 5 year extensive HR generalist experience at both operational and strategic levels to include a record of advising on complex people issues and change management projects.
  • Proven ability to pro­actively influence, challenge and negotiate at senior levels.
  • Strong customer and quality orientation. Able to understand the business and their challenges.
  • Proven ability to gather and share knowledge in the organization, in the HR Team and on a global level.
  • Well organized and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience of working in multicultural environments with the ability to build relationships with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures and an appreciation of how different cultural, legal and labor market influence people management practices
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written), with the ability to provide clear and effective advice on a range of people issues.
