Invitation to Tender (ITT): Provision of Video Documentary Consultancy Services, Self Help Africa (SHA)-Kenya

Self Help Africa (SHA)-Kenya is a dynamic international organization based in Nairobi with its headquarters in Ireland and operations in African countries across East, Southern and West Africa. In Kenya, SHA’s track record stretches over 15 years working with smallholder farmers’ associations, cooperatives and small and medium size enterprises in the agribusiness sector to support enhanced production, productivity, income and dietary diversity through intensification of agriculture, value addition and improved marketing.

SHA’s approach to agricultural development is based on technical expertise, extensive experience of project implementation, and evidence of best practice from the wider development community. SHA also works to strengthen smallholder farmers’ institutional capacities to enable effective farmer participation at institutional and policy levels. Currently, SHA works in more than 40 counties across the regions of Kenya.

About the Project

This is a 5 years programme funded by European union. It’s implemented in collaboration between Self Help Africa as the lead- applicant and co-applicants: Rafiki Microfinance Bank, Ugunja Community Resource Centre (UCRC), Ustadi Foundation and Tru Trade. The project responds to identified needs, challenges and opportunities within the cassava value chain in Kenya, leveraging the expertise of the private sector and together delivering an integrated package of activities to increase the competitiveness of the cassava value chain.
