Invitation to Local Tender: Kenya Construction of Climate Resilient Water Harvesting and Storage Systems (Sand Dams) in Samburu County – FCA

Title: Construction of climate resilient water harvesting and storage systems (Sand Dams) in Samburu County.

Deadline for submission of bids: 25th May 2023 at 2259 hrs.

As such, FCA invites interested, eligible and competent firms to bid through open domestic bidding for the works below.

With Funds received from UNICEF Finn Church Aid (FCA) is launching a “Local Open Tender” and invites interested contractors for the following tender:

Construction.

Construction of climate resilient water harvesting and storage systems (Sand Dams) in Samburu County.

  1. All the works are for a humanitarian project implemented by FCA in Samburu County.
  2. Please note that the prices shall be quoted in KES only inclusive of VAT.

Site visit for Samburu East sand dams will be On Monday 15th May 2023 At 9.00 am at BP Petrol Station in Maralal Town (Opp Samburu County headquarters, Samburu County (Please observe punctuality).

Site visit for Samburu North sand dams will be On Tuesday 16th May 2023 At 9.00 am at Baragoi town old stadium (next to Baragoi police station), Samburu County (Please observe punctuality).

All bids, in English only, must be submitted as one fully scanned document (both the tender dossier and supporting documents) online through the following Link:

All bids, in English only, MUST be submitted online by 2259 hrs Kenyan time on 25th  May 2023. as two different attachments.

Duly filled Tender document- Please note FCA will get the quoted prices only from Annex 3 (Form of tender submission). Any other modifications will be automatically disqualified.

Supporting documents/company documents as requested in clause 5 (Eligibility Criteria) and 6 (Contract Award Criteria)

Late bids will be rejected.

  2. Tenders will be opened at the address mentioned below at the time stated in the tender dossier. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, tender opening will take place on 29th May 2023 from 10.30 am through zoom (Please share the company representative’s email where the link will be sent).

The Contracting authority may for its own convenience and without charge or liability cancel the tender process at any stage.
