Expression of Interest for Partners to Support the Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health Project
TRIGGERISE is a non-profit that motivates users – primarily young women and adolescent girls – to make positive choices. We use nudges like reminders, discounts, in-person and digital follow-ups, and reward points to encourage our users to access and use healthy products and services. We also support them in becoming micro-entrepreneurs and earn incomes to sustain themselves.
Triggerise is registered in Kenya and has its main office in Nairobi but carries out its programs in fifteen counties including Nairobi, Kisumu, Mombasa, Kajiado, Homa Bay, Kisii, Kilifi, Bungoma, Siaya, Migori, Vihiga, Busia, Kakamega, Machakos, Nyamira and Nakuru.
Triggerise is implementing a donor-funded 18-month sexual reproductive health(SRH) intervention whose main goal is to increase access to modern contraceptives and HIV testing (both self and provider assisted) among adolescents, girls and young women aged 15-19 in the aforementioned counties. Additionally, Triggerise intends to implement the program in Machakos County in 3 sub-counties, namely;
- Athi River
- Machakos
- Matungulu
Triggerise is therefore requesting for proposals from eligible organisations that will be provided sub-awards or contracts to undertake actions that generate demand for the use of contraception and HIV testing among adolescents in line with national policies and guidelines through the use of mobilisers. For the purposes of this EOI, eligible organizations are defined as legally registered CBOs, NGOs and FBOs who already work in the defined sub-counties.
Scope of Work
The scope of work for successful applicants will be as follows:

- Train mobilizers using standard guidelines, tools, IEC materials and other collateral to be provided by Triggerise;
- Supervise mobilisers recruited to ensure that they comply with the standard code of conduct;
- Undertake actions to engage communities in the localities in which they operate so that they are aware of the project including its goals and are the support of its aim;
- Ensure that there is a minimum number of trained mobilisers focused on supporting the project
- Undertake actions that safeguard and protects girls that take up contraception and HIV testing services through the project
- Utilize insights generated by Triggerise through its technology platform on the performance of their mobilisers to strengthen the quality of supervision and support they provide
