Consultancy Services: Digital Pedagogy Expert

The Digital Pedagogy Expert Learning Management System (LMS) is to design and produce innovative learning experiences for both educators and students. This position uses educational insight, creative solutions, strong writing skills, and a detail-oriented mindset to drive the success of our digital teaching and learning products. Additionally, the Learning Designer creates interactive lessons, builds professional learning networks, and guides cross-functional development of digital materials to support instructional methodology. This position works closely with other designers, subject matter experts, and developers to transform instructional technology pedagogy and materials into highly engaging digital experiences for teachers and students.

Essential Duties:

  • Upload all contents (Videos, images, texts, gamified content) developed for 5 courses into the LMS and organize as guided by the developed curriculum
  • Design and develop teaching and learning solutions within the LMS for our end-users, both teachers and students
  • Develop instructional technology pedagogy and materials that map to our curriculum learning objectives.
  • Test and refine content, based on end-user feedback
  • Following the launch of course/curriculum, analyze areas of low learner engagement to propose potential course redesign to improve the effectiveness of instruction
  • Keep up to date on learning tools, trends, and ideas to offer innovative solutions to instructional technology principles and practices including design thinking, adult learning principles, blended learning, mobile design, and interactive training.

Experience

Required

  • Experience in facilitating adult learners in various modalities of instruction.
  • Experience working on multiple projects with aggressive timelines and ability to manage and prioritize projects.
  • Experience with Learning Tool Interoperability (LTI) integration; how to review and add LTIs to Canvas.
  • 3 year(s): Experience in 12 digital learning landscape and, emphasis on the development of pedagogy for blended learning environments.
  • Experience with HTML coding and CSS with knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Experience using a robust LMS in curriculum development for a blended or flipped classroom model will also be considered.

Preferred

  • Strong background with Microsoft Productivity tools and familiarity with Google for Education.

Education

Lead Consultants in the applying firm must have at least a Bachelors degree in IT related field.
