Call for Concept Notes on Community Led Research- Towards achieving HIV, TB, Malaria and COVID-19 through Community Led Research, Amref

This call is for research concept notes that will demonstrate how Community Led Research on HIV, TB, Malaria and COVID-19 can strengthen community systems. The proposed researches should focus on either HIV, TB, Malaria or COVID-19 in different parts of Kenya.

Research projects funded through this call will be expected to contribute to:

i) localized evidence on the root drivers that underpin community-led and community-based responses, and policies to enhance the prevention and response to the epidemics,

ii) facilitating the uptake and use of evidence to inform national and global programs, policies, and practices,

iii) identification of innovative approaches that increase domestic resources, hence ensuring resilient communities to both current and future threats by the four diseases.

Concept notes are therefore invited from local community organizations and individuals affiliated to them, that bring together a range of capacities and contributions needed to undertake community Led research in line with the objective and themes of this funding opportunity. Applicants should submit concept notes using the proposed application template.
