Power Africa East Africa Energy Program (EAEP) works to expand affordable and reliable electricity services across the region. The four-year- program is focusing on the following major objectives:
- Optimized power supply,
- Increased Grid-based power connections
- Strengthened utilities and other power sector entities and
- Increased regional power trade.
RTI International leads implementation of this Power Africa coordinated program, a U.S. Government-led partnership, funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)
RTI International seeks bids from eligible, qualified, and competent consultancies for Solicitation Number EAEP-E005/008/11/2021: Development of Geothermal Development Company (GDCs) community engagement strategy.
Eligible bidders are required to submit via email admin@powerafrica-eaep.org from August 13 to August 19, 2021, the following mandatory requirements in order to be issued with the comprehensive request for proposal (RFP) and terms of reference (ToR) for the assignment:
- The bidder’s registration document.
- The bidder’s business permit/license.
- Applicable tax registration documents.
- The bidder’s current tax compliance certificate.
- The bidder’s company profile. The profile must clearly show the number of years’ experience the bidder has handling similar projects.
Following receipt of the detailed RFP and TOR, bidders are notified that the deadline for submission of bids is August 26, 2021, as stipulated in the RFP.
