Job Vacancy: Technology for Development (T4D) Intern, Save the Children
The T4D Intern is part of Save the Children’s East and Southern Africa Regional Office. The T4D intern will provide support to the Regional Technical Project Manager – Digital.
In order to be successful, you will bring/have:
Essential/Desired
- Recently completed or studying for an Undergraduate Degree in ICT related courses e.g., BSC Computer Science, BTech, BBIT, Information Science etc.
- Excellent computer skills especially in MS Excel spread sheets and MS Word, and ideally experience with analytical Software tools especially Power BI, Open Data Kit, Linux (and Open Source Software), Microsoft Azure etc.
- High level of integrity and ability to work as part of a professional team
- Cross-cultural experience, understanding and sensitivity, and foster positive and collaborative working relationships;
- Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills;
- Commitment to Save the Children values
Contract duration: 3 months
Location: East & Southern Africa Regional Office-Nairobi
