Invitation to Tender: General Insurance Cover

TENDER NO. NGEC/OT/INS/004/2022-2023

1. National Gender and Equality Commission invites sealed tenders from registered Insurance Service Providers for the Provision of General Insurance Cover

2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method and is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers.

3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours at the address given below.

during normal working hours on Monday to Friday between 0800hrs to 1700hrs (East Africa Time).

4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by paying KES 1,000, in cash. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.

5. Tender documents obtained from website, www.ngeckenya.org or the PPIP portal, www.tenders.go.ke shall be free of charge.

6. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to procurementI@ngeckenya.org to facilitate any further clarification or addendum/addenda.

7. All Tenders must be accompanied by an Original tender security (Bid bond) of Kenya Shillings; Eight Thousand (Ksh. 8,000.00); in form of a Bank guarantee from a bank licensed and operating in Kenya, valid for thirty (30) days beyond the validity of the tender (180 days) shall be submitted by prospective bidders. This shall be in the format provided in the tender document. Tender Security from an Insurance Company shall NOT be acceptable.

8. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.

9. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 26th July 2022 at 11.00 am (East Africa Time).

and deposited in the Tender Box provided at Solution Tech Place Building, 1st Floor. Tenders that do not fit in the tender box shall be deposited at the Reception Desk and recorded using the register located at the reception area at the address located in clause 9 above.

10. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.

11. Late tenders will be rejected.
