JWH Initiative – Both ENDS

Overview

The Joke Waller-Hunter (JWH) Initiative creates opportunities for young people in the environmental sector in developing countries to unfold their full potential. By giving small grants to individuals to expand their knowledge, experience and training, the Initiative aims to strengthen environmental Civil Society Organizations capacity and efficiency. The mission of the JWH Initiative is thus to provide an accessible and tailored small grant for education and training of individuals who are nominated by their organization as potential future leaders.

Participants

  • Young people who work or are affiliated with environmental CSO’s
  • JWH also encourages the nomination of young women and local community leader

Nomination Criteria

Participants are to be nominated by the Environmental Civil Society Organizations and nominators working in these organizations identify suitable candidates within their organizations or networks and either themselves, and/or in collaboration with the candidate, fill in the nominating form.

Grant Value

There are three categories of grants and they range from 2.000, 5.000 and 7.000 euro

The deadline for the call is August 24, 2022, at 5PM (CEST, Amsterdam time) and should be sent to jwh@bothends.org.
