Internship Opportunity for Data Management Intern, Save the Children

The Opportunity

Save the Children International Kenya Country, office has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Data Management Intern Under the general guidance and direction of the Nutrition Coordinator. The role holder will provide data management and statistical analysis and other information to support management decision making within Programmes. He/she will support in ensuring an up to date and quality data on both programme performance and quality delivery while maintaining high professional standards of all our Programmes.  In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics or social sciences.
• Willingness to learn new skills and motivation to participate in the learning experience.
• A high degree of self-motivation, positive attitude, drive and the ability to contribute to a multi-cultural, team-based work environment.
• Strong networking capacity and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask; work flexibly, creatively and under pressure in response to needs or changing demands.
• Extremely well organized.
• Highest ethical standards
• Commitment to Save the Children values, including willingness to abide by and enforce the Child Safeguarding policy.
