Invitation to Tender for Building Construction Works at SOS SFC Buruburu-Nairobi, Kenya

SOS Children’s Villages Kenya is a part of a global humanitarian organization dedicated to improving the care of children deprived of parental care. We provide family-like care and social services for vulnerable families through our Family Strengthening Projects. Currently, we operate in five locations; Nairobi/BuruBuru, Mombasa. Eldoret, Kisumu and Meru, with the National Office in Nairobi.
The Organization intends to implement general renovations of its BuruBuru location, including the following main works:
i)Rehabilitation of the basketball court,
ii)Renovation of the warehouse and conversion into a gymnasium, as well as renovation of the outdoor washrooms,
iii)Family houses: renovation of walls and floors, provision of doors in the bathrooms, and replacement of solar water heating system.
iv)Renovation of Drivers house and providing ventilation,
v)Construction of a chain-link fence around the garden,
vi)Construction of a gate and boundary wall around the around the Kindergarten,
vii) Rehabilitation of the parking, roads and walkways,
viii) Rehabilitation of the sewer treatment plant,
ix)Renovations at the Kindergarten including replacing worn out gutters and damaged ceilings,
x)Installation of solar security lights
Interested contractors are required to make a non-refundable payment of KSH 2,000 to SOS Children’s Villages Kenya, account name: NCBA BANK, account number: 6926820075, Bank code 07; Branch Code: 000; Swift code: CBAFKENX and send the payment confirmation slip to: piero.biasuttii@sos-kd.org cc walter.odhiambo@soskenva.org and Girum. Menassiei@sos-kd.org . Upon receipt of the payment confirmation and verification, you will receive the tender package. The deposit slip must also be attached to your tender bid submission as the first page.
Only Building Contractors belonging to Categories from NCA 7 to 3, are allowed to tender. Submissions by tenderers not belonging to those categories will be rejected. Temporary joint ventures will not be taken into consideration.
The bidders must comply with all the instructions, terms and conditions and ensure that all forms required are properly completed and submitted.
Bids including both the technical and financial offers should be submitted in two copies i.e. one hard copy AND one soft copy by email as follows:

The bids have to be received by latest Thursday 10th March, 2022 at 1600 hrs. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered.
