Job Announcement for a HIV Adviser, IPPF

2 Year Fixed Term Contract

Salary: GBP £40,356 (London) or USD $32,520 (Nairobi)

IPPF is a global service provider and a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all. We are a worldwide movement of national organizations working with and for communities and individuals.

We are seeking an experienced HIV Advisor to support the scale up of HIV prevention and care through IPPF local Member Associations, with a focus on biomedical prevention of HIV. You will contribute to research and technical support with specific attention on issues related to key populations through a gender perspective. You will support partnerships and facilitate IPPF active engagement in key external meetings.

You have a proven track record in the HIV and sexually transmitted infection (STI) field and developed knowledge of the dynamic nuances of the HIV epidemic, notably in Africa and other countries of the Global South, and key populations. You have strong project management, research, analytical and report writing skills. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with fluent English are essential. Other languages are highly desirable. You have a social science degree or equivalent standard of education.
