The Job: 

As the Global Procurement and Travel Officer, you will be responsible to evaluate suppliers, products, and services. You’ll also be in charge of negotiating contracts, ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient, timely, and of high quality. You key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Design and implement a travel policy into a platform that will assist employees to book and manage their travel, provide reports on travel spending, and provide insight into travel requirements such as visa or vaccination requirements.
  • Ensure requests for advances are done prior to travel taking place.
  • Ensure that travel reports are submitted and are sufficient, analyze and prepare reports on travel spend.
  • Selection of vendors and develop relationships to support a strong supplier community.
  • Management of new and current contracts with regard to end dates, payments and renewals, as well as ensuring that Triggerise terms and conditions are included in all contracts.
  • Ensure the procurement process has been followed in accordance with company policy.

You pay close attention to detail. You are organized, enjoy administrative tasks, and are great at building relationships with providers.

  • Good knowledge and understanding of global and local travel trends and processes
  • Good knowledge of procurement and logistics policies and processes
  • You are a good communicator and always willing to support travelers and procurement staff

The rewards

At Triggerise we believe in being open, also when it comes to salaries. The monthly salary bracket for this position is €1 520 – €2 280 in Portugal, R28 300 – R42 200 in South Africa, and KSH 132 200 – KSH 198 300 in Kenya, plus benefits and allowances. We will offer you a salary in this bracket depending on your level of experience and how it relates to your future colleagues.
