Mission for Essential Drugs and Supplies (MEDS) is a Christian not-for-profit organization based in Nairobi, Kenya. It is a Registered Trust of Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB) and Christian Health Association of Kenya (CHAK). The Organization’s core mandate is being a reliable supply chain for quality and affordable Health Products and Technologies, Quality Assurance and Health Advisory Services. MEDS was established in 1986 and serves clients spread all over Kenya and other regions in Africa.
M EDS is inviting eligible firms who qualify to apply for prequalification for supply of goods and services for the period 2021 to 2023. interested firms are required to visit MEDS website and download the application package for completion at https://meds.or.ke/downloads/. Prequalification of suppliers does not amount to an award or obligate MEDS to refund costs incurred in submission of applications. MEDS reserves the right to accept or reject any application in part or whole and is not bound to explain its decision-

- MEDS/POV/01/2021-2023: Supply of Packaging Materials for Health Commodities (Cartons, Cool boxes, Strappings, Ice packs, Dry Ice etc.)
- MEDS/P0V/02/2021-2023: Supply of Stationery and General Office Supplies
- MEDS/P0V/03/2021-2023: Supply of ICT Hardware and Software (Information System Solutions, Web Services, Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Networking and Telephony Devices etc.)
- MEDS/P0V/04/2021-2023: Supply of Branding (Tapes, Labels etc.) and Promotional Materials
- MEDS/P0V/05/2021-2023: Supply of Computer Accessories and Consumables
- MEDS/P0V/06/2021-2023: Supply of Office Furniture, Furnishings and Fittings
- MEDS/P0V/07/2021-2023: Supply of Laboratory Equipment and Items
CATEGORY B – Provision of Services
- MEDS/P0V/08/2021-2023: Provision of Customs Clearing and Forwarding Services
- MEDS/P0V/09/2021-2023: Provision of Warehousing Facilities (Within Nairobi, preferably Mombasa Road vicinity. Applicant must be primary owner of premises.)
- MEDS/P0V/10/2021-2023: Provision of Transportation Services for Distribution of Health Commodities
- MEDS/P0V/11/2021-2023: Provision of Incineration Services for Disposal of Medical Waste
- MEDS/P0V/12/2021-2023: Provision of Hospitality Services (Hotel Accommodation & Conference Facilities)
- MEDS/P0V/13/2021-2023: Provision of Travel Agency Services (Air Travel, Ticketing and Ground Transfer Services)
- MEDS/P0V/14/2021-2023: Provision of Maintenance and Repair Services for ICT systems (Web Services, Computers, Printers, Networking and Telephony Devices etc.)
- MEDS/P0V/15/2021-2023: Provision of Computer Networking Services (LAN and WAN)
- MEDS/POV/16/2021-2023: Provision of Printing and Publishing Services
- MEDS/P0V/17/2021-2023: Provision of General Building Repairs and Maintenance Services
- MEDS/POV/18/2021-2023: Provision of Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and Services
- MEDS/P0V/19/2021-2023: Provision of Airtime Vendor Services
- MEDS/P0V/20/2021-2023: Provision of Event Management Services. Must be registered with Event Managers’ Association of Kenya (EMAK)
Submission deadline for responding to this POV is 1st October, 2021 at 5:00 pm EAT. Interested parties should email their applications to prequalifications@meds.or.ke with email title being “PREQUALIFICATION OF VENDORS/ CATEGORY NUMBER XXX” in PDF and Zip format. Applications must comply with mandatory requirements stated in the download package in order to be considered for evaluation. Late applications will not be considered.
