Pre-qualifications of Suppliers for Various Goods and Services

Ipas Africa Alliance for Women’s Reproductive Health and Rights works in Kenya and Uganda—and with regional East Africa partners—to reduce deaths from unsafe abortion, to expand the availability of safe abortion care, and to improve the legal and policy environment for safe abortion across the continent. Based in Nairobi, Kenya, Ipas Africa Alliance has programs to train safe abortion providers, support health clinics that offer abortion services, and develop youth champions for sexual and reproductive rights.

Ipas Invites interested and eligible entities to submit their applications for purposes of pre-qualification of suppliers of good and services for 14 categories indicated:

  • IPAS/1/2021- Supply of general office stationery
  • IPAS/2/2021- Creative & design services and supply of promotional/branded materials, banners, shirts, signs & signboards, Printing Services.
  • IPAS/3/2021- Provision of taxi & car hire services in Nairobi, Kiambu, Kisumu and Nakuru,
  • IPAS/4/2021- Provision of professional office cleaning services
  • IPAS/5/2021- Supply and maintenance of office furniture & fittings
  • IPAS/6/2021- Provision of Hotel accommodation, catering, and conferencing services in Siaya, Busia,
    Bungoma,Vihiga, Kakamega,TransNzoia, Uasin Gishu, Nairobi, Kiambu, Nakuru, Naivasha,Mombasa, Machakos,Thika, Nyeri, Kajiado and Kisumu
  • IPAS/7/2021- Supply and delivery of Gynecological medical equipment and instruments in western Kenya, Kiambu & Kajiado counties
  • IPAS/8/2021- Supply of Computers, Notebooks, Laptops, Tablets, Servers, UPS, Printers, Scanners, Software, Accessories and other related 107 Electronic Items
  • IPAS/9/2021- Supply of Drugs and Non-Pharmaceutical commodities
  • IPAS/10/2021- Provision of Fire Equipment Servicing
  • IPAS/11/2021- Provision of Security Services in Kisumu
  • IPAS/12/2021- Provision of Translation Services in EU Official Languages
  • IPAS/13/2021- Provision of Courier Services
  • IPAS/14/2021- Provision of Videography and Rapporteur Services
Applicants are required to submit completed pre-qualification forms and the mandatory documents in PDF format to the email address procurementaa@ipas.org on or before 30th September, 2021, making sure to indicate the category number on the subject line, and name and contact details of the designated person in your organization to whom any correspondence should be addressed to. Email size allowed is 5 MB per email.

Submission of bids will only be made electronically. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered. Applicants need to apply for each category number separately, combined applications shall not be considered.

Existing suppliers who wish to be considered for the Ipas list of suppliers are also required to submit their applications for 2022/23.

NOTE: This is an application for prequalification and not a tender for supply of goods and services. By being pre-qualified does not preclude or prevent Ipas from conducting competitive bidding process in future and this should not be construed to be a promise of any contract. Ipas reserves the right to accept or reject any application for prequalification from potential applicants without giving reason. Any canvasing attempts shall lead to disqualification.
