Western Union Foundation Accelerator and Fellowship
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the Western Union Fellowship program for young entrepreneurs ad leaders working with highly marginalized, forcibly displaced and refugee communities in the world.
The program which last for one year is designed to equip next-generation entrepreneurs and leaders with the skills and experience to increase access to economic opportunity, succeed in the evolving nature of work, and transform their communities.
The year-long Fellowship will be delivered in a virtual format is aimed at equipping young generations of entrepreneurs and leaders with the skills and experience to increase economic opportunities, integrate into their various communities, succeed in their career path as well as transform their communities. Each fellow will receive $1,000 in Seed Funding to launch/grow their ventures and initiatives.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be able to commit to the 2-week Accelerator (July 19th – July 30th) and the year-long Fellowship program.
- Must be a young entrepreneur or leader with proven experience of building community development projects within their communities.
- Must be able to participate in a high-profile Summit after the expiration of the Fellowship to share their progress and impact throughout the program.
