If so, we invite you to join our team at Nutrition International as a Regional Human Resources Manager.
Position Overview:
As the Regional Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our HR strategies and practices across the African region. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director, People and Culture, you will provide HR expertise and guidance to our regional and country staff. Your responsibilities will span various HR functions, including Recruitment & Selection, Policy Administration, Performance Management, Training & Development, Benefit Administration, and Employee Relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our regional management team and HR Director to implement talent management strategies aligned with our HR vision.
- Provide guidance and support to managers throughout the recruitment process, from strategy development to offer preparation.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and practices and recommend changes as needed.
- Offer advice and coaching to regional staff on HR matters and advocate for procedural fairness.
- Oversee the administration of regional benefits plans and maintain competitive offerings.
- Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and stay updated on changes.
- Collaborate on training and development programs and administer training policies.
- Implement NI’s Performance and Appraisal Review (PAR) process and provide support to employees and managers.
Qualifications:
- University degree in HR, Business, or related field required.
- Certification by a national or international HR institution
- Master’s degree and other professional certifications are assets.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience.
- Significant experience in recruiting for senior and technical roles.
- Experience in developing or implementing HR projects (e.g., HRIS, employee surveys, compensation systems).
- Knowledge of HR legislation within the Africa Region.
Language Skills:
- Fluency in English and one regional language required.
- Fluency in one or more additional regional/local languages is an asset.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel to country offices and occasional international travel will be required (15%-20%).
