Request for Proposal – External Audit Services, Africa Region

The Norwegian Red Cross is a humanitarian organization whose work is driven by a desire to help others. It is committed to, and bound by, the fundamental principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and acts as the guardian of the Geneva Conventions.

The mission is to protect life and health without discrimination or to improve health and protection of the most vulnerable people in conflict and crises, and climate change.

The Norwegian Red Cross is one of 192 Red Cross and Red Crescent (RCRC) national societies across the globe and has been part of the RCRC Movement since 1865. NorCross operates through a network of Branches in Norway and Internationally, with the HQ based in Oslo.

The Norwegian Red Cross (NorCross) is seeking an external audit company to carry out a comprehensive audit of the financial statements. The audit services will be for a 2-year period renewable. The audits will be both interim and final audits for the respective years starting 2023. The period covered for interim audits is usually January 1, to August 31, and September 1 to December 31 for the annual audits.

Bidders are expected to show evidence and experience in these kind of services with competent and qualified staff to undertake the assignment. In addition, the bidders are expected to submit their proposals in English.
