Tender for Supply of Dell Laptops and other IT Accessories – Practical Action

Practical Action invites tenders for the supply of Dell laptops for use by our staff. The laptops should be of the highest quality and should meet the requirements specified in this document.
Tendering Instructions:
1. Interested suppliers should submit their tender documents in accordance with the instructions provided in this document.
2. Tender documents should be submitted electronically and marked ” PA -KE-NBI2023 -004 Tender for Supply of Dell Laptops and other IT accessories’’ to the following address: Kenya.Tender@practicalaction.or.ke
3. Tenders should be submitted no later than 24th February 2023. Late tenders will not be accepted.
4. Any questions or requests for clarification should be submitted in writing to Meshack.Karithi@practicalaction.or.ke no later than 12.30pm on 23rd February 2023.
Tenders will be opened and evaluated by a tender committee.

Selection Criteria:
The selection of the supplier will be based on the following criteria:
1. Compliance with the tender specifications.
2. Quality of the laptops offered.
3. Price competitiveness.
4. Delivery time.
5. After-sales service and technical support.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. The supplier must be a registered company in good standing (Tax Compliance certificate will be required)
2. The supplier must have at least 7 years of experience in supplying Dell laptops.
3. The supplier must provide references from at least 3 clients for whom similar Dell laptops have been supplied.
Terms and Conditions:
1. The successful supplier will be required to sign a contract with Practical Action that outlines the terms and conditions of the supply of the Dell laptops.
2. Payment will be made within 30 days of delivery of the laptops and receipt of a valid invoice.
3. The supplier will be responsible for all taxes and duties related to the supply of the Dell laptops.
4. The laptops will be inspected upon delivery to ensure that they meet the specifications.
5. The supplier will be responsible for any defects or faults in the laptops for a period of one year warranty from the date of delivery.
6. The supplier will be required to provide technical support and after-sales service for the laptops for the duration of the warranty period.
