Request for Proposal: Purchase of Six (6) Motor Vehicles – Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS)
I. INTRODUCTION
Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) is a national humanitarian, voluntary organization, established in Kenya by an Act of Parliament (CAP 256 of the laws of Kenya) in 1965. We are a member of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) alongside 191 other National Societies (NS), which together with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) constitute the Red Cross and Red Crescent (RCRC) Movement. Our shared mission is ‘to alleviate human suffering, protect life and health and uphold human dignity, especially during armed conflicts and other emergencies’.
II. PURPOSE
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to source for proposals from technically qualified firms to supply (6) six units of 4X4 duty-free motor vehicles as per the detailed specifications in Annex I1 for Kenya, in KRCS (Carriage & Insurance Paid To) INCOTERM 2022, KRCS – Headquarters office in Nairobi.
KRCS is committed to including diverse firms (and those who value diversity and inclusion) in its sourcing and procurement activities.
III. REQUIREMENTS
Proposals must address each item listed, giving specific details of techniques to be used in achieving these requirements. Proposals may be rejected if minimum requirements are not met. Costs for developing proposals are entirely the responsibility of the proposer and shall not be reimbursed by KRCS.
1. Table of Contents: Every RFP submitted must contain the following information:
a) Services and Activities: Provide description of the nature of the organization’s services and activities. Note when the business was established, brief history and location. List the location(s) of the office(s) from which the primary work on this contract would be performed, Car Shop within Kenya.
b) Filled Out the Supplier Form (Attached).
c) No Conflict of Interest: Client relationships that could potentially be considered a conflict of interest must be listed.

IV. INSTRUCTION TO BIDDERS
Bidders shall submit their complete proposals including technical specifications by email to tenders@redcross.or.ke no later than 3rd March, 2023 at 11:00am EAT time.
