Theme of the Year 2023: UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration

The Science Film Festival is a celebration of science communication in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Africa and the Middle East: The festival promotes science literacy and facilitates awareness of contemporary scientific, technological and environmental issues through international films with accompanying educational activities.

Eligible Participants

  • filmmakers, producers, broadcasters and organizations worldwide

Awards

  • The Science Film Festival bestows six awards chosen by an international jury. They are complimented with a cash prize of 1,000 Euro each. The Prize of the Jury is complimented with a cash prize of 3,000 Euro.
